The Centre for Supporting Evidence Based Interventions in Livestock puts data and evidence at the centre of livestock decision-making in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LICs and MICs). We mobilise and apply data and evidence to help the livestock community make better investments that improve livelihoods for smallholders in low and middle-income countries.

SEBI is uniquely positioned to close the livestock data gap, with expertise in veterinary science, epidemiology, environment, gender and data science and our engagement with the global community of livestock data producers and users. Our activities are carried out through three interlinked areas of work:

  • Building and applying the livestock evidence base.
  • Accelerating livestock interventions.
  • Connecting the livestock community.
